Review #39: Robaina tobacco thru and thru. The Don Alejandro is the pinnacle of the Vegas Robaina line. Excellent draw and combustion. Perfect burn. Smoking in the humid Cuban day, this cigar lasted ages. Building in strength, the Don Alejandro never gets too powerful. Although it finds full strength in the last third, it is a balance between medium and strong. Sweet notes the remind you of the Unicos. I still prefer the Partagas Lusitania for prominentes. This would have my vote as being the second or third best prominente, in competition with the SLR Double Corona. - Submitted by cookj1 on January 17, 2009

Review #38: Olor en frìo: Recuerdos a bolleria-pasteleria. Blandito al tacto. 1/3 - Inicio espectacular con sabores a Moka - chocolate y aromas a cedro, cuero, chocolate...Combustiòn perfecta. Fortaleza media-alta. - Submitted by rafa on December 26, 2008

9.7/10. - Submitted by Franz-Eric on December 3, 2008

Review #36: FEB 02 Wonderful cigar- medium strength & body, with distinctive cocoa flavor. And great construction & a slow even burn. Over 90 minutes of pleasure, unlike some very under filled 2004s I had that while tasting OK, could be smoked up in 45 minutes. - Submitted by Bassman on September 4, 2008

Review #35: JUN 06 I bought a box of Don Alejandro while I Was on a business trip in Dubai. The box was from an 06. Smoked one straight off the box .. and It tasted exactly as you would expect from the master of Cuban Tobacco and cigars Alejandro Robaina! I dont undersatnd why this cigar has only received 8.7 here .. it should be at least a 9.2 in my opinion. One of the very few DC that has no draw issues and is very generous when it comes to creamy smoke. I give it a 10 - Submitted by maalouly on August 31, 2008
