DEC 06 Hands down, the best double corona I've had, beats Lusitania, Hoyo dM and Saint Luis Rey every time. Dark earth cocoa aroma's, very consistent from box to box, latest box is no exception. You owe it to yourself to try one. - Submitted by oldmanjohnson on June 23, 2009

Άλλο ένα ολόφωτο υπερωκεάνιο του κουβανέζικου στόλου, που χθες βράδυ έπιασε λιμάνι, ακριβώς απέναντι από τη βεράντα μου, (κάνει ζέστη πια), τερματίζοντας ένα μεγάλο ταξίδι που ξεκίνησε αρκετά χρόνια πριν, τον Αύγουστο του 2003. Παρόλο το μεγάλο του μέγεθος δεν με κούρασε καθόλου. Αντίθετα, όλα ήταν εύκολα, ωραία και χαλαρά, καθώς «έριχνε άγκυρες και έδενε κάβους» στο τελευταίο του ταξίδι. Οι γεύσεις πολύπλοκες, ενίοτε κρεμ, ενίοτε γήινες, μερικές φορές περισσότερο καφέ ή κακάο, μ’ εκείνο το καραμελο-άρωμα της ψημένης λεμονόφλουδας να σπάει τη μύτη. Δεν έλειψε και ένα ελαφρύ άγγιγμα από ήπια μπαχαρικά, λίγα κέδρα και κάποιο ανεπαίσθητο άρωμα λουλουδιών. Πουθενά δεν ήταν τραχύ ή ελάχιστα βαρετό, η κάθε ρουφηξιά προετοίμαζε την άλλη, κι ο γαλάζιος καπνός ανέβαινε σχεδόν κάθετα, δένοντας υπέροχα με τις λεπτές και εναλλασσόμενες ευωδίες της Μαγιάτικης νύχτας. Ήταν μια αγάπη, ένας έρωτας που κράτησε λίγο παραπάνω από 90 λεπτά, μεσουρανώντας στο φωτεινό στερέωμα, κι ύστερα χάθηκε και έσβησε σαν πεφταστέρι. MAR 08 First time trying the brand. Beautiful oily dark wrapper.Box of 2008. Could not believe it. Right off the bat it got my attention when I fired it up. WOW. If it starts this good what will the end ne like. It got better and better and better. Phenominal cigar. Better than any DC I have smoked and I thought the Punch DC was the best ever.This takes the #1 spot now. Can't imagine how good it will be with a little aging. The flavors were unlike I had ever experienced. Bought another box the next day to let it sit for a year or two. I smoked a Punch the next day to compare the two but I am looking forwrd to another Vegas Robaina tomorrow. - Submitted by alenbak on April 23, 2009

Not being a big fan of large sized cigars, the Don Alejandro reminded me what a great cuban cigar is. From the moment you light it until 90 minutes later I experienced a wonderful cigar. The draw was great from start to finish and the flavors changed throughout the entire length of the cigar.
