Review #54: --- 08 Impressive looking stick indeed! Last time I had a prominente was about 3 years ago and have since then almost forgotten how big a double coorona realy is. IMO this is a medium strenght and mild-medium bodied cigar with flavours of cream, cedar, sweetness, milk-coffee and leather. Construction was very good while the draw was just a tad harder than I like. Interesting thing is that during the first third flavours reminded me of an aged Montecristo No.1. Besides the mentioned 3 hours of smoking time that it gave me this Don Alejandro is also very reasonably priced for a cigar this size at 16 Euro per stick. Coupled with few years of aging(3-5) and a better draw this could be an excellent cigar.Ty M. - Submitted by promajk on December 28, 2010

Review #53: AUG 08 received an aug/08 box today. should have waited a month or so to try one- but couldnt wait. My first cigar felt exceptionally lightweight- spongy to the feel. The draw was loose as a goose and lit up fast. Some initial Cuban aroma- but it quicky gave way to a straight tobacco aroma and flavor that was one dimentional and lacked character. The burn was fast and required multiple touch ups. The taste progressed from disappointing to revolting as did the aroma. Ive got other Robaina cigars that are outstanding and I purchased this box based on those experiences and the good reviews here and elsewhere. However, this cigar is a dud and will wait several weeks to try another before returning them to my cigar merchant. - Submitted by neuticles on October 5, 2010

Review #52: JUN 08 Got a box today and should have allowed them to rest but couldnt wait. Nice construction but very lightweight for such a big cigar. The draw was loose as a goose and needed several touch ups as the burn was inconsistant. Spongy feel. This cigar is 28 months old and appears to be green- lacks dimension and richness. No real flavors have emerged- just a tobacco taste with a hint of Cuban aroma. Because I should have let them rest for several months I will not rate this cigar and will do so in several months after tring anohter. - Submitted by neuticles on October 5, 2010

Review #51: ---   Had a pack of three and dont know how old.Nice cigar.A bit light for my taste, since this was my first Don Alejandro i expected to be stronger, maybe not Lusitania wise, but somewhere there.Anyway a first class DC.Perfect draw and burn, nice flavours. - Submitted by ilijat on September 17, 2010

Review #50: ---   grande habano di carattere, oltre un'ora di assoluto piacere iniziato con gusto e delicatezza, evoluto con carattere e note tostate, terminato con sentori di legno nobile e caramella mou - Submitted by goethe66 on July 28, 2010
