Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro Review:

No doubt this smoke is one of the best "goods" Cuban manufacturers have ever done. Its draw and combustion can be defined as perfect for its uniformity, and its taste half way between medium and strong is balanced in great harmony with subtle sweet, woody and earthy notes.

Review #69: MAR 12 Just started my last box, after 10 years in the humidor. Amazing. Chocolate (first milk and then darker), coffee, mocha, cinnamon, Brazil nuts. Very even burn, stayed lit for 2 hours until I couldn't hold it anymore without burning my fingers. I hope the next 24 are close to this good. - Submitted by oldmanjohnson on August 29, 2022

Review #68: JUN 16 11th cigar out of this box. To begin with this cigar was nearly fully plugged. After quite a bit of work with my boravis cigar tool I got a reasonable draw. The first half of this cigar was straight milk chocolate, one dimensional and boring. Just when I was about to be very disappointed, the flavors started rushing in. Mocha, coffee, chocolate and roasted nuts. The second half of this cigar was very good, very enjoyable. As pleasant as this cigar was, I have to say I was expecting more at this point in its development. Hence the lower grade. I’m going to give this cigar another year and hopefully it improves greatly. - Submitted by Gpayne on January 27, 2022

Review #67: AUG 13 Enjoyed one tonight. Terrific large long smoke. Great for relaxing. Sad to hear they are being discontinued. 10 out of 10 on this one. Just a great cigar. - Submitted by jdelrizzo on June 7, 2018

Review #66: ---   June 2016 box. I read the flavor profile for these cigars but was still surprised by how sweet and delicious this cigar was. Started subtle coffee flavor the first quarter. Second quarter profound chocolate! Third quarter sweet cream! Final quarter was coffee and roasted nuts. I nubbed this cigar and had a buzz after I put it out. I give it a 9 and ordering another box before they are all gone! - Submitted by Gpayne on March 30, 2018

Review #65: ---   It's being discontinued, but current stock is not exactly flying off the shelf, or so I've heard. The late 2015 production was wonderful. Perfect construction and ready to smoke already. Very rich taste, it took me a couple of smokes to get used to the strength. It helps to pair it with a beverage with equally decadent flavors such as an expertly made mocha. With age, these will be dynamite. This brand has been the source of controversy as it uses the Robaina name without sporting any Robaina farm content. However, look at the new HR line from Nicaragua and I really wonder what Don Alejandro would have thought. - Submitted by KimweeKim on November 15, 2017
