Review #9: Smoked a dozen or so of these with very little age on them (only a couple of months). I just can't resist them straight out of the box. Excellent accompaniment to an English ale or a glass of decent red wine. The previous reviewer is bang on regarding the complexity of its flavour combined with strength, a good draw and copious smoke. - Submitted by poshjonny on November 14, 2005

Review #8: A very bold statement of the Cuban art of making cigars. Well rounded, exquisite and very aristocratic, the VR Clasicos are one of the finest smoking experiences I\'ve had recently. Excellent construction and look match a great taste: creamy, with notes of beans, toast and hints of sweetness all along. I\'m glad I got out of my Partagas, Montecristo and RyJ habits. This smoke is a real gem. Nub it! - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on July 20, 2005

Review #7: The best Lonsdale. Prelight draw lets you know what you're in for. Perfect draw, lush smoke, a cigar with multiple personalities. It starts out sweet and twangy, stays that way unti the final third, then kicks in with considerable power. You will smoke this to the nub and taste it for hours on your pallet. What a fine smoke. Best with 5 years age. - Submitted by unknown on February 15, 2005

Review #6: Excellent Lonsdale, very good construction. The flavors start in a first third of honeyed sweetness with a hint of spice, the second third mellowing the spice but keeping a creamy sweetness. The last third is spicy strong, with notes of cocoa and coffee. Very elegant smoke. - Submitted by Estrella on October 15, 2004

Review #5: First third a hint of sweetness, light and some spice. Second third increasing in spice, cut the sweetness, med in body. Last third strong same level of spice. Construction, very good no burning problems interesting cigar needs more time (1 year?) in the humi. I'll buy another box because these aren't going to last. - Submitted by Northphilly on September 13, 2004
