MAY 06 I'm down to my last 3 cigars after a year and must say that I really don't like them. I get very little flavor out of them, and I prefer strong cigars. The construction has been consistently good, but the taste for me just isn't there. - Submitted by Goldenberg on July 3, 2009

I've been giving this cigar plenty of chances to redeem itself but after years of trying I have to say this is one bland cigar. I had so much hope for this cigar after hearing friends talk about how much they love it. Bottom line is that the cigar burns well enough, but the draw is tight and the flavors unappealing. Κατασκευαστικά είναι ένα ντελικάτο κομψοτέχνημα, καπνιστικά ένα ραφινάτο, ελαφρύ και γλυκόπιοτο πούρο. Δεν έχει τις συγκινήσεις και τις υπόγειες ριπές μια «βαθιάς Αβάνας», ωστόσο ικανοποιεί στο έπακρο κάποιον που αναζητάει κάτι πιο «μαλακό» και ευκολοκάπνιστο, (χωρίς να είναι «χορταράκι φρου-φρου»). Καλοστριμμένο, άψογο, με φίνο κουβανέζικο καπνό που σερβίρει αρώματα από δέρματα και καφέ και κυρίαρχο μοτίβο μια ανθο-μύριστη γλυκύτητα. Αν κάποιος θέλει να φύγει λίγο από τα στενά όρια των γευστικών του προτιμήσεων, το fundadores είναι ένα όμορφο διάλειμμα, μια πολύ καλή εναλλακτική πρόταση για τις απαιτήσεις μιας τέτοιας στιγμής.
