Review #24: The flavors of the 1998 Fundadore were initially grassy, much like a Cohiba. Smooth and elegant with a medium bodied tobacco flavor. As the cigar burned, I found myself mesmerized by the leading edge of the wrapper turning black before succumbing into ash. The ash is firm with not a flake and coloring much like dark charcoal mixed with a little gray. The flavors in this cigar continue to change and I would consider it a very complex and balanced cigar. I tasted many notes of citrus boarding on a floral tone. There were during the changing of directions flavors of wood, earthiness and sweet spiciness. I tasted notes of vanilla bean and light mocha. I was thrilled by the way the spiciness and delightful Habanos flavors built in the last 1/3 leaving my mouth feeling that it had been layered with a velvety smooth blanket. The Trinidad Fundadore finished smooth with a earthy spiciness that left my lips and tongue tingling with the knowledge that I had just smoked an elegant Habanos. - Submitted by Tampa1257 on April 10, 2005

Review #23: I am usually a big fan of big ring gauges, and to-the-point cigars, such as robustos. However, I was so surprised how a small gauged stick can produce an abundant volume of smoke, filled with chocolate, coffee and cream. A very refined and elegant cigar. Take your time, if you smoke it too fast, you have bitter and hot flavors. Took me 1h30m hours to finish this one. - Submitted by ju1c3r on March 22, 2005

Review #22: I had a 98 the other night, and it was absolutely the finest cigar I have smoked to date. I\'m getting a box of the robustos extra and putting them to bed. - Submitted by Guest on March 15, 2005

Review #21: Smoked two of these wonderful cigars on my last business trip in Taipei with a good friend at a bar. The atmosphere and ambianace was perfect for this cigar...beautiful...classy...romantic. The long slim shape was complex and smooth, but little on the light side. Too bad I couldn't bring some back along with the women I met... - Submitted by Pierre on February 22, 2005Submitted by Pierre on February 22, 2005

Review #20: This is my third one this year. Continues to tantalize the senses with its spectrum of flavors --- cocoa, cuban rum and dr. pepper! There is nothing like taking one of these out of its tube and puffing away whilst sipping on some cinammon schnapps! Try it! - Submitted by Barry in Calgary on February 16, 2005
