Review #5: These cigars are truly masterpieces of cuban cigars. Box code REC OCT 01. What a truly classic vitole, the wrappers dark milky swiss chocolate, with out veins of imperfections. The aromas are classic cuban, and the flavors are unbelievable, warm cuban cedar, fresh chocolate, and espresso, even an extra hit of dark swiss chocolate. The flavors of strong very well aged tobacco are the mainstay. These are truly one of a kind, so i ordered 4 more boxes, cant wait to get them - Submitted by bigyesta on January 31, 2005

Review #4: Just got two boxes of March 04. Smoked one to see how they are. Smooth for the first 1/2 with some honey and chocolate, then spicy as it burned further. Some ammonia that will certainly disappear with age. Can't wait for 2007. - Submitted by WFZone on September 23, 2004

Review #3: Just had one of the new Mar 04 version. An exceptional cigar- perfect burn & draw. Strong & extremely spicy from start to finish without ever getting harsh. This one's a winner - Submitted by steve on July 26, 2004

Review #2: I only have one cabinet of these rare smokes. Smoked one recently to test them out. In comparison to other DC's these have a larger ring gauge with a wonderful bouquet emmitting from the box. The large size provides an exceptionally aerated/oxygenated smoke. Don't let the oxygenated start fool you as this cigar is full of substance!!!! Aroma is unmistakenly Saint Luis Rey. I recommend keeping these rare beauties in (first class storage conditions)as they have a tremendous amount of substance for aging. Storing them within an ideal environment will protect any delicate flavors generated from aging. Rarely can one find cigars with equal aging potential as that of the Saint Luis Rey DC's. I just hope to be around when these gars finally peak (it'll take decades!). - Submitted by Rogndd on April 5, 2004
