Review #6: Appearance: Rough, bumpy and veiny with the typical RyJ EMS colored wrapper. Slightly under filled, which is my preference in a cigar. Perfect draw with huge clouds of billowing smoke. Strong tobacco bite with an oaky sweet, yet creamy flavor. You know you smoked a full bodied cigar when you smoke one of these. Nubbed it! Summary: I'm amazed that this cigar tasted exactly like the 98's I have. These are full of flavor, strong and tannic and a pleasure to smoke. The 98's I have are tannic too, so don't expect that to go away anytime soon. :o) - Submitted by TimL on October 4, 2006

Review #5: Old 1998 ryj. Good cigar but not impressed !! A bit too small for me, some of you may enjoy it. One thing about old cigar, they seem to lose that bad acid taste over the years. - Submitted by beaver on July 26, 2006

Review #4: A very satisfying lunchtime havana for me. Draw and burn were fine with good construction and pleasing to the eye. Flavours were medium in body and with a slight complexity of cedar, coffee grounds, a bit of leather and a slight fruitiness reminiscent of the petit corona but in a slightly smaller size. Very tasty and one of the best small havanas IMO along with Bolivar Bonitas, Cohiba Siglo I and Trinidad Reyes. - Submitted by A. Dyer on November 16, 2004

Review #3: I've purchased 3 boxes of these this year at the Dubai airport. I love these cigars. For about $3/smoke it truly satisfies. This is quality tobacco that makes me wonder if there isn't some other ingredient there... - Submitted by Marc on July 23, 2004

Review #2: To me I'd say the opposite of the first review. The box pressed cigars seem to be a more tightly packed and slower burning cigar. Generally better made and better looking. Otherwise very similar to the Romeo No 3. I'd be inclined to prefer these unless I actually wanted tubes for some reason. This is a slightly better cigar IMO and cheaper than the alloy clad No 3. - Submitted by willisoften on May 7, 2004
