A solid little stick that produces lots of rich creamy smoke. Plenty of those Cuban earth tones and just a hint of pepper. Smooth all the way down. Would have liked some more complexity, but it was a very satisfying and enjoying hour smoke. - Submitted by AlphaWolf on April 4, 2011

--- Perfect example of how you need to let some smokes rest a bit. I had one out of my box of 10 and felt like I was smoking dried out cardboard (after it had been rained on). Just shy of a month later these are smoking very nice. As others have said not overly complex, but a great example of a medium bodied smoke with rich flavor. Very sweet on the lips ands just a light touch of holiday spices on the nose when exhaling. Actually a great reminder to me that it was RyJ that got me hooked on cuban cigars some 3 years ago. --- I would have to say a full to medium bodied smoke. This cigar has a very long lasting flavour that seems to linger on in your palate. The Short Churchill has subtle yet strong flavours from start to finish. A smooth and very enjoyable smoke to say the least.
