This is indeed a fantastic robusto, and the name is just perfect for it. It is indeed the short version for the Romeo y Julieta Churchill. I found the flavor profiles to be the same, with a big difference: RYJ Churchills need at least 3 years of age to smoke as smoothly as this robusto -the cigar I am reviewing is barely one year old-. Straight out of the tubo...(AGO06) and an hour or so of pure pleasure. Construccion maravillosa - dark thick outer leaf feels like velvety leather between ones lips. Starts out strong, spicy and slightly dry ... slowly but surely mellows out to smooth cedar-smoked leather flavour with a nice texture cremeuse et une legere tonalite de miel mille-et-une fleurs. Se tiene que fumarlo para creerlo. If like most cigar-makers and myself, you look for flavour and balance rather than mouth-numbing power, and especially if you prefer soft but full-flavoured sweetness over dry spices, then this is for you. As for the accompanying drink, nothing strong please - i yearned for a late-vintage port, but i'm not rich, so some good cooking sherry did the trick nicely. (Note that out of 30 or so reviews at my retailer, all the tubos buyers have given a 5 star whereas the box buyers ... a meagre 3/5) - Submitted by frenchkiwi on July 7, 2007
