Review #43: Strange cigar. Not at all like any others I have tried so far. Which is probably a good thing, as it is meant to be the strongest cigar in current production. And strength is certainly a major factor in this cigar. The first few puffs were in all honesty fairly bland, but moving into the second third, it just got more and more flavours happening. Earthy, nutty and even subtle hints of cinnamon became noticeable. The final third was exceptionally powerful, quite a world away from the innocent beginning. But despite the (at times) almost ovewhelming strength, it remained smooth and never harsh. Often I find cigars that are very strong have an ammonia-like sting in the smoke, but there was none of that here. Mind you, my lips did tingle a bit from fairly early on! I'd like to smoke several more of these before I give a definitive opinion, but just based on this one cigar's uniqueness, I have to give it high marks for really standing out in a big, bold manner. - Submitted by Tony38 on August 29, 2008

Review #42: --- 01 Average looking stick with thick, dry, veiny, almost Maduro wrapper from 2001 with too many soft spots. Not as strong as I remember it – more in the middle side of power scale. Started rather mild without proper taste; just thick smoke and pure tobacco. After first centimeter cigar became more recognizable with flavors of earth and leather but still with a lot of charred wood and soft ash. Second third was the most enjoyable when strength came into the first plane. Cazadores continued to be very dry and whole time I was forced to drink like a camel. Altogether this was straight forward cigar with linear taste and poor burn. I never bought a full box but with purchasing numerous singles I was hoping that maybe they will grow on me. This never happened and I’m sorry to say that probably never will. - Submitted by Diademo on July 9, 2008

Review #41: Definitely a strong cigar. The flavours aren't flavours I seek. I liken the flavours to sour milk. I can detect the leather but not the most earthy cigar I've had. The 1st half was very pugged but then it opened up. The wrapper split in the last 1/3rd most likely due to it being overfilled. I wouldn't get this cigar again. It is very different, but I don't think I'll be getting these again. - Submitted by cookj1 on June 10, 2008

Review #40: MAY 08 very, very god cigay for me one of the best - Submitted by krishmetz on May 12, 2008

Review #39: Strong, delicious and honest. A great smoke - especially with a good bottle of calvados or armagnac by your side. A classic cuban cigar. - Submitted by baobab on April 12, 2008
