a good cigar with an even burn..flavor was not as prominent as other r&j's but overall a good smoke. however in this size range i would pick this stick up again when there are so many other amazing options available - Submitted by sause2112 on April 10, 2009

I tried my first Belicoso about 5 years ago, on my way out of Cuba I bought a box just because of the price. When I returned home to Canada I tried one right away and was severely dissapointed. I left them for about a year without even thinking of touching them and when I tried one I was blown away. I'm working on my second box now, box date March 06 and with age these are impressive little figurados. Medium bodied, good burning characteristics, and a cedary, sometimes scotch whisky flavour make these a good afternoon smoke. - Submitted by adam z on March 18, 2009

MAR 05 I smoked one yesterday out of my 2005 box. Well construced with a light wrapper. It was a very creamy taste. Because of 3 years aging there was a fantasic draw and burn. - Submitted by joko on December 2, 2008

Την πρώτη φορά που το συνάντησα (3 sticks), ήταν κακοφτιαγμένο και ασχημόγευστο. Μου έκαψε το λαιμό και έδιωξε τα κουνούπια. Έτσι κρατώντας του κακία, για μεγάλο διάστημα, όπου το συναντούσα, το απέφευγα. Μετά από καιρό μπαίνοντας σε ένα μαγαζί, κάτι με τσίγκλησε, και πήρα άλλα δυο σινγκλάκια. Όταν ήρθε η στιγμή και κάπνισα το πρώτο, ήταν ένας απίστευτος πούρακλος. Το ίδιο και το δεύτερο την άλλη μέρα. Πήγα στο μαγαζί και πήρα όλα όσα είχαν μείνει στην κούτα, (8 κομμάτια αν θυμάμαι καλά). Η σοδειά ήταν περίπου 3,5 χρόνια πίσω. Όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά πούρα, με θεσπέσια αρώματα και γεύσεις από όμορφα παλαιωμένο Ρωμαίο & Ιουλιέτα καπνό. Αγόρασα λοιπόν άλλη μια κούτα (που ‘χε στην «πλάτη» της περίπου ένα χρόνο), αλλά δεν ήταν το ίδιο πούρο. Είχε όλα τα όμορφα χαρακτηριστικά του, αλλά «φώναζε» από μακριά πως ήθελε «ύπνο» για να μπορέσει να τα αναδείξει. Έτσι λοιπόν, τους είπα πάραυτα ένα παραμύθι και τ’ αποκοίμισα. Κι όταν θα έλθει η ώρα τους, θέλω πολύ να πιστεύω, πως θα ξαναβρώ εκείνο το υπέροχο, σχεδόν μαγεμένο πούρο, που είχα καπνίσει. - Submitted by cipu on November 25, 2008

MAR 07 MGT box code? Great voluminous clouds of crispy clean smoke, sort of dry and not as pungent as some of the gnarliest stronger types of RJ's.
