Review #18: Managed to snag a bag of 5 of these at my cigar shop, for a decent price. I had to try one right away, of course. Very nice, smooth cigar, with a nice draw (despite being warned about the possibility of a crappy draw). Strong flavours of wood and spice, mainly, along with leather and coffee. Very flavourful, nice development, and a good duration. Definitely worth the price I paid for them; I can't believe they lasted so long, frankly. - Submitted by agraupe on August 3, 2007

Review #17: It is quite unusal to have inconsistency within the same box, on smoke and taste. If just taking about tight draw, it may happen. This vitola never fail me. Suggest to ask your supplier to clear this query. Whole box is difficult to find today. Have doubt mixing different Dalia to fill up to full box. - Submitted by Derek.C. on May 24, 2007

Review #16: I have to disagree with the crowd on the greatness of this cigar. I bought a box that looked beautiful with oily, dark wrappers. The 10 or so cigars that I have tried so far have been tight with a very firm draw, an extremly annoying smoke. The couple others that smoked well delivered fantastic flavors, getting stronger and spicier by the end. But the box is inconsistent. - Submitted by oussafa on March 26, 2007

Review #15: A great smoke. after running out of Coronas Gigantes i decided to try 898. the two i tried were aged well (2001) and consistant. smooth pale silky texure, smelled fresh earthy but not spicy and not oily. easy to light with an even burn till the end and an easy draw. consistant taste all through. meduim strength, and not spicey. full of cuban earthy flavour yet does not attack the palate. good smoke for anytime. - Submitted by Almajed on September 19, 2005

Review #14: Fantastic dalia, probably my favourite in this format. They need some maturing to show their true colours in complexity. Really fine late afternoon smoke of medium-full flavour, medium body with classic Allones flavours of wet earth, cocoa, some leather and nuttyness. A delicious smoke, try some. - Submitted by A.
