Rafael Gonzalez M. Perlas Review:

The Rafael Gonzalez Perlas is short, thirty minute Cigar was as inviting as they come. Dark and tasty, the Rafael Gonzalez Perlas is a welcome addition to anyone's humidor. Flask of 5 units, standard classical box of 25.

Review #34: MAY 22 What a tremendous Havana. Aromatic prep-light aroma and perfect draw. Vanilla, cream, coffee and cedar all the way through. The middle third is just perfect medium flavor. I am a notoriously slow smoker and bargain shopper and these cigars are just what the doctor ordered. IMHO, slightly better than the excellent Monte #5 and that says a lot. Bought two boxes of 25 and just had the first one. Cigars are not quite a year old and hope I can hold onto one of the boxes for at least 3-5 years, but it will be tough. These are just tremendous smokes. Smoke them slow (45+ minutes) and you will be rewarded to the nub. UEM May 22. Score 91-92 all day long. - Submitted by owensinco on February 6, 2023

Review #33: Enjoyable from start to finish. No harshness or heat at the end. Well constructed. Pleasant pre-light aroma. Easy draw, even burn, nice white ash no problem lighting or remaining lit. Medium strength given small size. Just a well balanced cigar and perfect for my needs - a 45+ minute bit of afternoon relaxation just man a cigar a glass of Irish single malt and his dog. Been in the humidor for a couple of years so well aged and don't have box date. - Submitted by hoodlum on April 6, 2022

Review #32: What a good and reliable smoke, with a tremendous quality-price ratio. The construction is great and the flavours are all about coffee, cedar, earth and a slight touch of vanilla. Everyone should try and stock it !!! - Submitted by Heinrich on September 11, 2021

Review #31: No complexity in the aromas but perfect draw, even burn, good construction. I wanted to try those so I bought a paper box of 5. The first one tasted cardboard, so I left the others in the humidor for several weeks and tried again, and I did great, the flavor improved. Mild, cream, chocolate, perfume. Will buy a box of 25 and let them age a bit. Great for an everyday smoke. No harshness. - Submitted by yMartin1 on October 24, 2020

Review #30: AUG 15 Aug 2015 box. Very nice little smoke for a short lunch. Good strength for its size and leaves that nice Cuban flavor on your palette. - Submitted by nhdjoseywales on December 15, 2018
