Review #73: JUL 08 Somebody let me try a Quintero Nacionales and I was amazed that such a cheap cigar can be enoyed as a real Habana. Later I bought a 25 pack of Brevas at Zuerich Airport for EUR 31 and put it mixed side by side together with my Partagas Cigars (under required humidity) into my humidor. It improved considerably after a period of 8-10 months in the surface appearance of the smoke smell and tast although the body character of the cigar could not be changed. It is still a light cigar but with typical elements of taste of a Habana Cigar. Quintero cigars have a good outside finish and usually burn considerably well, if smoked with some concentration. Unfortunately, some are rolled a bit tightly and draw suffers, but usually all cigars of a box are smokable. Some cigars in a box could be also significantly different in diameter, i.e. diameters can range from 14 mm to 17 mm but the core volume of it is around 16 mm. Ashes drop fairly easy and needs attention unlike other Habans, especially 'long fillers'. The smoke smells elegant and light, taste is a bit complex habanalike and best in the first half and simplifies continously towards a taste of a cheap cigar as it goes to the end. It's not a finger burner, but I prefer it by all means to much more expensive Davidoffs, which taste mostly like cow dung! - Submitted by walter woerle on July 31, 2008

Review #70: hm the Londres extra are much better the Quintero Brevas more remind me of the L. Piedra brand but are more exprensive with 1.45 Euro in Spain all Quintero and L. Piedra very good value for money but I will go more for the Londres extra in the future they really have excellent value for money - Submitted by Holgerchen on June 18, 2008

Review #69: 05 box.general look is rough and uneven made cigar.the smell is herbal, prelight draw is good and herbal.when you light it,surprisingly is also very herbal with sweet tastes.this is not a complicated cigar with different phases of aromas in it.the burn is pretty uneven and needs to be corrected quite a few times.overall this is a descent cigar, especially for the price(27euros for box of 25)i generally smoke these when i want something that wont be too challanging or rough.good for the price but nothing special. - Submitted by maatjes123 on February 3, 2008
