Review #6: I was going to write my review, but first read solomr2 and can just say I agree entirely! - Submitted by Frederick on February 9, 2005

Review #5: I picked up a box of the tubed version--I think they're '02 production. A wonderful cigar--heavy with a lot of intriguing flavors. STRONG!!! It's one of the strongest in my collection. - Submitted by Shooter on November 4, 2004

Review #4: I was surprised by how completely I agreed with review #2 by solomr2. I wouldn't exactly call it "quite strong," but it's stronger than current Cuban cigars. - Submitted by Dougmeister on September 28, 2004

Review #3: This cigar had too much leather for my taste, sometime falling close to bitter. On its good moments very earthy and rich. - Submitted by srh on January 17, 2004

Review #2: Punch Monaraca is a Churchill sized cigar, available in aluminium tubes. The cigar was very scarcely available throughout most of the 90s, and may have even been discontinued. But luckily it seems to be coming back. As Punch cigars go, the Monarca has a typical Punch flavor profile, with a warm toasted tobacco core and nice earthy "down on the farm" aroma. The flavor is full with a decent dose of sweet wood, vanilla and traces of sweet spices. Very well rounded and smooth, almost creamy. This is perhaps the best cigar I have ever had, even better than Montecristos of late 80's early 90's. Although quite strong compared to current Cuban cigars, it is never harsh or bitter in any way. Satisfying from start to finish - down to the last inch! Stock up on these cigars because if they ever stop producing them you will be sorry that you missed this outstanding gift from the island. - Submitted by solomr2 on January 12, 2004
