Review #35: This cigar started off a bit slow, the aroma was good with hints of cinnamon and vanilla, fresh and gentle. The flavour was smooth, creamy with some spice but very very light. The taste only really started to develop after the first half of this cigar with the spiciness becoming more prominent. The last 3rd of this cigar was definitely the most exciting and interesting but construction let this one down with the wrapper starting to unfold at this point, it also lacked a bit of sweetness all through. - Submitted by smokeyguy on August 25, 2011

Review #34: I bought one of these from my local tobacconist a while ago and smoked it that night. Despite the fact it spent no time in my humidor it was a very pleasant smoke. Presented in nice green tubos, it was a very different Cigar to others on the Cuban market. Had good construction, even burn and nice tastes. Highly recommend to smokers of all levels. - Submitted by BassCigarBoy on July 30, 2011

Review #33: ---   Being very new to cigars this was my first ever Punch. My novice pallet found it very enjoyable to smoke, sweet and aromatic. Easy to light and keep alight. I did find a great benefit in blowing gently down the cigar before taking a draw. This noticably enhanced the taste of the cigar. The flavour maintained all the way down. Great cigar for the beginner. Can't wait to try the fuller bodied cigars. - Submitted by shotgun on September 19, 2010

Review #32: ---   Not a bad smoke, but not the best either. However, given the price, it's decent value. Draw a little on the tight side, but good flavour throughout. Slightly sharp towards the end. On an aside, I enjoyed Deaglan's (review #27) contradiction, i.e. cheapest cigar to be had v. not smoking for value. Happy smoking all! - Submitted by Thunderos on March 16, 2010

Review #31: --- 08 Another cigar from the 2008 which I find to be thoroughly enjoyable. Comes in 'duck muck green' tubes, not the bare aluminium as pictured. Well filled and constructed. Smooth, oily Colorado wrapper with narrow veins. The flavours spectrum resemble that of a Bolivar No. 2 but less intense in body and depth. There is the ever present spice and not as strong with slight changes in flavour profile. Lots of smoke but not particularly creamy, even slightly tannic. Afertaste is predominantly wood. Becomes earthier and more leathery in flavour. Flavours linger in the mouth long after finishing the stick. The burn and draw were good. Quite a substantial cigar and a bargain for its price. I will hide away a box and revisit in the future. It would appear that the more recent vintages (2007 - 2009) of Cubans are picking up in quality. - Submitted by sengjc on March 13, 2010
