Review #12: Got this dude as a gift from a non puffing friend who was given it a as a gift many years ago (at least 15 years). The guy has no humi, but he pre-cut it and sealed it tight in a tube and forgot it in a cedar box in his damp basement. I wasn't expecting much... but the flavor profile ws simply amazing. Surprizingly, it wasn't completely dry, it retained a full, absolutely complex smooth flavor with zero harsh notes. A most subtle sweet white pepper excites your palate without any trace of aggresivity. Draw was free-flowing and delivered adequate amounts of smoke. Razor-sharp burnin'. One of a kind ciggie and something that i'm very unlikely to come accross again. Makes me want a try recent batches... The aftertaste lasted for long hours. Yummy! 9.5/10. - Submitted by Franz-Eric on July 28, 2009

Review #11: This review is based on the german regional edition 06. It was recommended to me a few weeks when buying the PL petit coronas. The draw was on the tighter side, but produced thick plumes of smoke. You could already detect a sweetnes in the unlit aroma. It started out with a pure tobacco taste and develped into rich tobacco sweetnes with caramel flavors and a little spice. It lasted for one and a half hours and it was a shame it had to end because of fingerburns. Must get more while they last. - Submitted by arnehdhh on March 1, 2009

Review #10: OCT 06 This Lonsdale is coming from my first box of German Regional Edition 2006; other two boxes are resting in humidor because IMO this cigar will became a legend in next few years. When I smoked first one, less than a year old, it was rather strong, unbalanced, with too tight burn but was full and creamy. I was hoping that they are now matured and stabilized. Wrapper in this one was on the darker side of Colorado Natural shade; rather average looking and all cigars were distinctively box pressed. The smell at cold was full of paper, spices and rich tobacco; draw was a bit too tight. After lighting it, the cigar delivered flavors of coffee, caramel, wood and thick cream but they were not in the balance. At the middle cigar even lose some strength and in the final third some harshness appeared. Altogether this is cigar with great potential, with rich palette which reminds me of Bolivar’s Gold Medal. I will checked them again in six months but I’m quiet sure that they will not be ready until 2010. I smoked it after lunch with nice semi-dry white wine Zelen (remotely related to the Italian Verduzzo). Great combination! - Submitted by Diademo on October 7, 2008

Review #9: Tight draw and Por Larranaga flavours. Unfortunately, this lonsdale did little for me. It doesn't have the flavours that I seek out. I appreciate its flavours and recognize that this cigar is unique. Too bad you have to work hard to draw any smoke from it. Slow burning. - Submitted by cookj1 on January 9, 2008

Review #8: Now I get it! I have a box of these stashed away, but also bought a couple singles. The first, smoked a few months ago, was so tightly rolled it produces little smoke & less flavor. Just had one today, though, with a perfect draw & the cigar is just wonderful. Very smooth & rich flavor. Beased on the second example, I highly recommend these. - Submitted by Bassman on August 6, 2007
