Review #86: The first thing that catches your eye in this cigar, besided the wonderful construction, is the wrapper colour: it's a light colorado, while usually piramides from other brands (and the LE from Partagas too)wear darker maduro wrappers. You won't believe how many people is still persuaded that darker colour means stronger smoke! Give them one of these if you want to make them see the light. Back to the stick, it has one of the strongest spicy flavours when unlit, I've seldom stepped into such a good perfumed cigar; pepper flavour is particularly strong, foretelling what will come later. Give it fire, and this atomic power plant begins to work his way through your consciousness. The nicotine punch is strong since the very first puff, the flavour is intense as well, with strong cedarwood notes prevailing upon spices and vegetal ones. The evolution is continuous, without notable leaps, but pitiless in its strenght climbing. In the second part the pepper you were smelling before lighting up explodes in all its piquancy, I actually felt some bite on my tongue! Nothing disturbing, but it's a notably rare sensation when smoking a cigar (if you're also a pipe smoker you'll know what I mean). This stick is incredibly intense. Towards the end of the second third, you'll feel the flavour become smoother and rounder: that's the beginning of the imperious final. "Darker" spices, vegetal notes, pure power in a sort of musical crescendo to the last inch that will leave you intoxicated and asking for more. The nicotine punch now is almost overwhelming. It's not a smoke, it's a siege: don't try to dominate this cigar, allow it to take command and tell you its story, you'll be thankful. The aftertaste is pleasant and long lasting, despite anything you'll drink or eat for hours to come. Provided this production is only two years old, I can imagine that a proper aging will refine it and make it more austere, levelling some spicy sharpness. Last word on the smoking dynamics: draw and burning were perfect. Again, considering the age, this is noteworthy. Buy this cigar, you'll be rewarded by 1 1/2 hours in dreamland. - Submitted by sasha on October 19, 2007

Review #85: This particular partagas became a member of my collection reltively recenty as alternative for the montechristo no2. Hard the choice my seem, the difference is clear. It's a diffent construction, another filosophy but both embody the same hi-end principles. I recomend both. My personal choice still remains the montechristo but in any case everyone will recognize the merits of the serie P. A very good buy. Investement for the future. - Submitted by aathans on October 13, 2007

Review #84: Apart from a very unusual Cohiba Piramide that came with a Piramide sampler (the best cigar I've had EVER), this is definitely the second best...and could easily be THE best had I not tried the first. Deep, rich, creamy sweetness...you could feel it on your tongue as the rich smoke hit it....a joy to smoke...wonderfully constructed, and burned with perfection. I think you cannot go wrong with this cigar. - Submitted by hellion5 on September 24, 2007

Review #83: After trying a couple of this P2, I decided to get a box. Marked May 06, first impression from opening the box was that the color of the wrapper which was more on the colorado claro side while the previous one were darker. Second thing observed, just on the top row, at least 4 cigars have defects resulting in a quite bland smoking experience. After trying those, I finally got one with a good body. The strength is medium to strong (maybe a bit too medium IMO). Leather and woody flavors are delivered in a quite richy way. The cigar delivers a nice volume and the shape makes a very pleasant smoking experience leaving a perfect aftertaste. The downside seems that it misses consistency, highly recommended nonetheless. - Submitted by JTS on September 21, 2007

Review #82: this is an incredible cigar, the construction on this one was flawless, its truly a marvelous cigar to look at, definately my favorite piramid. the taste was similar to a serie d #4 but a bit smoother, the thing that struck me the most with this cigar was that it was very flavorful all the way through but it managed to keep a delicious creamy taste from the start to finish i cannot wait to smoke another one - Submitted by Simon M on September 20, 2007
