Review #17: This is my new favorite cigar, it is incredible the change of flavor you get about 1/2 way into it, it is a rare thing in a cigar and I have no doubt that this cigars will become classics - Submitted by Cesarare on July 22, 2004

Review #16: This beautiful cigar is IMO the best corona gorda of all. The classic Partagas flavors of the filling are sweetened and intensified by the dark chocolate wrapper. The results are frankly amazing. The cigar starts very peppery, you can notice cinnamon and pepper primarily; the last half mellows to smoother cedary and nutty flavors, which develop to an astonishing grand finale with chocolate and leather undertones. Totally amazing, you should not miss it. - Submitted by Estrella on July 5, 2004

Review #15: Beautiful presentation in a dark, oily wrapper that tasted wonderful unlit. Burn was surprisingly poor for such a premium stick, even going out a few times. But flavor was heavenly, ranging from a chocolatey sweetness at the start to a deeper, leathery spice. Very well-rounded and full-bodied, but not as complex as expected. Lack of age? Let's wait and see. - Submitted by The Privateer on June 29, 2004

Review #14: The first thing you will notice is the dark oily wrapper, that foretells what is to come. This is one Kick Ass Cigar. A joy to look at, a joy to rool on your fingers, and to smoke it is to want another. If I had to choose only one Cigar to smoke the rest of my life, this would be it. Bury me with one between my lips - Submitted by ereper on June 28, 2004

Review #13: I agree with Gavin - loose them in the humidor for a few years. The first few I had were young but excellent, like eating a stick of tasty, smooth but rich chocolate. Now they seem to be sleeping and that great flavor has diminished indicating they need to rest. I compare these a little bit to an H. Upmann No. 2 in flavor - deep, rich yet smooth. Here's a stick to pair with a great Cabernet! The first few I had, even though young, were possibly the finest of the LE cigars. - Submitted by Kid Charlemagne on May 28, 2004
