Review #74: DEC 08 I simply love these cigars. It has the typical Monte flavour but richer and deeper than Monte Edmundo and Monte No.2... do yourselves a favour and try one stick... you will be amply rewarded. - Submitted by Geoffrey Goldman on October 14, 2009

Review #73: --- 08 Just finished one of these and felt compelled to write a review. This is by far the best smoke I have had. Mind you I am quite partial to Montecristo cigars, having being the first smoke that got me started with cigars in the first place. Very similar to the Edmundos but with a fuller body and less sweetness. Nutty and creamy with hints of coffee and cocoa intermingled with tobaco. Pleasant aftertaste of cream with macadamia. Complexity increases as you progress down to the second third. The draw is easy from a punched hole. It does not burn too hot and burns even. I prefer these to the Montecristo C EL which is good smoke nonetheless but a little spicier with less richness. I have two dozen (abou 2 and a half boxes) of these aging away. Everytime I smoke one, I make it a point to replace it as it is still available for purchase. For its price, it is quite a bit to be treated as everyday smokes. The only issue that I have with these is that i wished the wrapper was a bit more msduro. Here is hoping these will blossom into something truly special with time reserved for special occaions. - Submitted by sengjc on October 11, 2009

Review #72: OCT 08 I have smoked 2 out of a box of 10 that I purchased in Havana in early March 2009. The first one was perfect with rich smoke and great flavour that just intensified as the cigar dwindled in size. The second smoke was not plugged per se but was definitely what I would call a difficult draw and had I been paying full retail for this cigar here in Canada I would have been extremely disappointed as this cigar sells for around $45.00 here. These cigars really should all smoke perfectly so I am at a loss as to what the Cuban government considers as an acceptable cigar to sell to the world. The one cigar that did smoke well was an easy 9 on the scale. - Submitted by purofino on October 4, 2009

Review #71: ---   i got 3 more boxes and it made me crazy because of its aroma, color, structure. i have no regret to own many boxes and the only reason is : it is a real masterpiece. u will also be enojoyed or impressed by its presentation when 10 lovely sticks with same color, attractive-smell of flower (of course I couldn't recongize which type of flower) lying in wooden-box silently and perfectly. i will definitely lit one when finishing my job before the Holiday. - Submitted by ericryan on September 28, 2009

Review #70: FEB 08 Didn't think they would be better than the Cohiba sublimes but I was wrong.Balanced is the best word to describe these. - Submitted by mzman on September 10, 2009
