Review #24: Had a lot of trouble with a no. 3 recently with having to relight on four (4) occassions. Part of a 5-pack I purchased in dec 03 from Alexander\'s in Melbourne. The rest of the pack has been sleeping in the \'dor till now and I thought they would be ready. Thought the humidity might have been high as I have heard too much moisture can cause problems with burn. Draw and smoke were fine (70/70 so the \'dor is fine). Flavour was all spice and leather with some cedar topnotes but the stick just kept going out. Very annoyed in the end and gave up half way. Others I have had have always been great but this one was an exception... - Submitted by Uncle on March 29, 2005

Review #23: General comment. If one could write where they purchased and for how much, it may go along way in putting reviews in context. Half star review on a number three makes us all wonder if we're talking about the same cigar. - Submitted by Cigar Noob on March 5, 2005

Review #22: It's a tasty cigar indeed, it tastes basically the same as the No.4 but not quite as tasty. I'd have thought they would use the exact same blend but just cut it longer...everyone I have tasted was lovely, don't get me wrong, but the No.4 just seems to have a slight edge in complexity. If I felt like the creamy flavour of a Monte 4 but wnated it to last that little longer I would choose a No.3 however :). - Submitted by A. Dyer on December 31, 2004

Review #21: I would have to say this is a great cigar Overall. The burn is well balanced and no runs occur, however the people who write the negative reviews on this must have bought fakes because I just got back from Cuba and bought these direct from my hotel. - Submitted by Beach on December 10, 2004

Review #20: My favourite "treat" cigar: spice, salt and old leather in a nice mouthful of smoke. Of the many No 3's, 4's and tubos I have smoked, only one has been plugged (a Tubo) so, like review 19, I'm not sure what the others have had. Not cheap, but I've tried many others and none compare. - Submitted by skatellite on November 13, 2004
