Review #235: DEC 07 I have heard so much about this cigar that I had to buy a box last week in Santa Lucia. Very smoky cigar, nice taste, full bodied, burns very well, wonderful ash its perfect to a tee! Nice size a classic Habano. I would recommend it to the experienced Aficionado. 90% - Submitted by Cuba_Raff on December 18, 2008

Review #234: FEB 07 I bought my first box of these some five months ago (box date Feb 2007). I'd had a couple of singles before and they where not so bad. But I've had three from this box and only one has been OK, just. The one I had today I had to lay down when it got to the second third, it was so tightly wrapped I couldn't get any smoke from it at all. They have been in my humidor since I bought them along with a box of Upmann Connoisseur No. 1 which are superb. When I pay this price for a cigar I expect it to be Ok from the start not one in three that smokes OK, I shall leave the rest in the humidor for a couple of years and see how they do, but At my age (70) I can't afford to store cigars for four or five years I may never get to smoke them. With these I am very disappointed. - Submitted by weezer on December 11, 2008

Review #233: SEP 07 Mi primer Monte n2. Perfecto. - Submitted by frulgens on December 10, 2008

Review #232: Let me first say the cigar I smoked did not come out of the original box, it came from a humidor and was aged 9 years. So it is only my best guess that the cigar I smoked was a No. 2 (due to it's shape and size). That being said, this cigar was wonderful. The best I have smoked thus far- great burn and I was pulling some thick smoke. Very mild and smooth with great flavors and balance (as #230 suggested perhaps aging is a factor in those things). I cannot say anything negative about this cigar, seemed like perfection to me. - Submitted by kyleg on December 7, 2008

Review #231: FEB 08 just had a strange happening with monte 2,i was moving some cigars around when i noticed that a lot,not all maybe 10 out of a 25 box had a lot of bloom on them, now this box soa feb 08 is only 9 months old.how on earth unless they are much older have bloom on them.i have had them about 3 months stored at 70/64 hum/temp.deceided to spark one up.beautifull draw over easy if anything.even burn, all those wonderful monte flavours, maybe slightly faster burn than normal.how can this be so on a cigar of 9 months - Submitted by paul watson on November 27, 2008
