Review #32: I agree with doctormartini. I have had a box in the humi for 3 years. Really the best of the brand now, spicy and tasty. True it doesn't last that long but quality, not quantity counts. - Submitted by monteman on December 3, 2008

Review #31: JUN 03 Poppy cock! As a cigar salesman & fan of over 15 years, we rate this as one of the best of the EL Cuban cigars. It is a question of the correct setting and accompanying tipple, try single malt New Irish or triple distilled Scottish whiskeys. Ageing needed but examine scores from those that have had 3rd or 4th cigars tis only then the light comes on! I've smoked about 3 boxes in 5 years and rate it as getting better but alas rarer with each passing year! Do try, but buy in box of 25 & age at least 6 months in humidor! - Submitted by doctormartini on November 13, 2008

Review #30: I've been waiting a long time to smoke this cigar. I thought it was time to bring one out of hibernation. I was very disappointed. I expected so much more from this cigar. This certainly isn't a classic Habano or LE. It is no surprise to me that it hasn't received good reviews and the average score is reflective of its mediocrity. - Submitted by cookj1 on October 29, 2008

Review #29: I have to come back to you to tell you how different my last Montecristo C was... I already produced 2 reviews in which I said I wasn't seduced by this cigar but the last one I had was simply fantastic... Sooooo smooth and silky, yet flavourful and rich... It maybe lacked a little depth to get a 5 star rating, but it was a great smoke nontheless... Really smoking well now, meaning all the wait was worth it. I think now is a great time to light up one of these babies. Draw and construction were perfect, as one would expect from the ELs the Cuban have put a lot of care in. - Submitted by Smokin' Phil on September 9, 2008

Review #28: JUN 08 I must say I disagree with many of the negative reviews. I thought this was a solid smoke. Although the flavor was not highly complex, I found there to be a nice velvety smoke with great aromas and earthy flavors throughout each third of the cigar. Going to try another one soon to see if I change my mind. - Submitted by Euge on June 28, 2008
