Juan Lopez Seleccion No 1 Review:

This cigar was Havana of the year in 1998, in both Spain and France. Awesome texture, great taste and a balanced aroma. An easy to smoke cigar. If you have never smoked one, try one! Need I say anymore.

Review #83: FEB 17 Beautiful dark oily sheen. Cedar, nutmeg, coffee, mocha, grass and roasted nut. Intense flavors, medium-full strength. Much stronger with age. Just a great cigar! Smoked to the nub. - Submitted by Gpayne on January 26, 2023

Review #82: OCT 16 First from this box. Construction was perfect, no citrus or floral, which I can do without and find if smoking JL#1's fresh. Flavor was rich tobacco and lots of smoke. I will try another in the coming weeks. - Submitted by randallp on January 26, 2020

Review #81: APR 17 Amazing cigar! Lots of flavor, and very full flavored, amazing flavor change throughout the smoke. Lots of nuts (cashew), wood (cedar), spices (cinnamon and a little clove), and a little rare steak taste as well, my whole box was fantastic, and each one was a little different! - Submitted by mcwhmv on May 31, 2019

Review #80: APR 17 Amazing Cigar, puts the seleccion #2 down, which is still a great stick, but the #1 is far superior, very full flavored, lots of spice, cinnamon, clove and everything nice! A really fantastic smoke! If you like the #2, the #1 is it's superior! - Submitted by mcwhmv on May 20, 2019

Review #79: ---   Feb. 2017 box. I loved the wrapper!! Excellent construction! I thought this cigar was a lot stronger than seleccion no.2. Nice even draw. Floral and honey at the start, Roasted nuts and wood 2nd third losing some sweetness, coffee and spice for the end. Great cigar! Totally different profile than seleccion no.2, which I also love. Juan Lopez has definitely earned a spot in my cigar cooler! - Submitted by Gpayne on June 25, 2018
