Review #69: --- 08 What a surprise. Great cigar. The best robusto around these days in my humble opinion. Staying away from big names for now. I found the less known brands to be much better quality and value. Nice and spicy, full of great complex notes. Not for the beginner. Gets strong in the end. Its awesome. - Submitted by alenbak on February 28, 2009

Review #68: Tried this one a couple of times a year or so ago. Hated it. Couldn't understand why all the guys at the cigar shop raved about it. Went to Cuba, and bought a box for my girlfriend (who also loves them). One night decided to have one, as it was a Monday and I didn't have time to smoke anything else (I love bog cigars). Couldn't believe it. Was one of those moments, when every single puff was enjoyable, no matter what I was drinking. Great nutty flavour. Now and again, I nick one from my g/f, and give her a Montechristo 2 in return. Good trade, though slightly in her favour. - Submitted by Kangaroo495 on February 16, 2009

Review #67: OCT 07 Smoked my first one of these babies at my cigar lounge and was so impressed i had to buy the remaining 13 sticks in the box of 25 and another full box with the same date. From the moment you light this cigar you know it is going to be a good experience. Perfect combustion and a sensational even burn. Flavours are strong but alluring and cuban to the core. Most pleasing taste to me was the sense of a fine red wine mixed with spice and cocoa. Thank you Bill for putting me onto this slice of heaven! - Submitted by devlingang on January 30, 2009

Review #66: JUN 07 Really becoming one of my favourites, great construction and finish, good depth of flavours, no draw problems as mentioned on my last review(Jan 08)maybe an extra year in the humidor has helped....still plenty of toffee and espresso flavours and long lingering after taste...bliss. Can anything really get maximum points? well nearly, would give this 9.5 out of 10. Well worth searching for these beauties! Have not got many left from the June 07 box, but will try and keep these for a while to see how they develop. - Submitted by berlin120 on January 26, 2009

Review #65: MAR 08 A truly excellent smoke for such a young cigar. Perfect construction. Decent burn even in breezy condition. Draw was a bit tight but no biggie. The flavors is where this robusto shines! First 1/3 had a nice toasty tobacco taste, with some nuttiness and light woodsy undertone. In the second 1/3, the nutty/creamy profile took center stage. This is where I also picked up notes of coffee and cocoa. The last 1/3 was pure heaven with primary flavor of black coffee and a cocoa. An outstanding cigar that is complex and very satisfying. Glad I took a chance on these...truly underrated IMHO. If you're on the fence about these, get off it and get yourself a box! - Submitted by mvanasop on December 30, 2008
