Juan Lopez Obus Review:

The Obus is a small Torpedo from Juan Lopez released as a Regional Edicion for France in 2007. The Juan family traits are very present, with a mellow, fresh and creamy smoke. A slight build up of power throughout the smoke gives the cigar the depth it needs to make it interesting. Only 2400 boxes were produced.

Review #3: Juan Lopez Obus-France RE-2006-7- It is one of the better Juan Lopez ever made. A good but not a great cigar. Good construction. Seemingly balanced and mature but lacking in complexity. I don’t see potential for being a “classic”. Woody-cedary-earthy start with some coffee, herbal notes that are consistent throughout until the end. - Submitted by dimi681 on August 22, 2014

Review #2: To me this was one of the better releases. Sadly, I only have one left. I will keep it and treasure it and remember all its brothers that fell before it. Full bodied, rich, and incredibly fragrant smoke. I had very minimal burn issues but the draw was excellent. The French got very lucky with this release. Buy it if you can find it. With age it could be a classic. - Submitted by cookj1 on July 20, 2012
