Review #146: Josť L. Piedra is a particularly noteworthy Habano because it is made from leaf grown exclusively in the Vuelta Arriba tobacco-growing region. The Piedra family came to Cuba in the 1880s from the Spanish province of Asturias. They settled near the town of Santa Clara, which lies at the heart of the Vuelta Arriba region where tobacco has been grown since the 16th Century, and started to make cigars. The second generation led by Josť Lamadrid Piedra founded and developed the brand whose name we know today. All seven of the Josť L. Piedra sizes are made using the traditional "totalmente a mano, tripa corta" -Totally hand made, short filler technique. Flavour Ranking: Medium to Full. - Submitted by zdemachkie on January 22, 2014

Review #145: This is a horrible cigar; I recently purchased two of them to have as any everyday smoke. What a waste it was a cheap option but as the saying goes "you get what you paid for". - Submitted by boch on January 4, 2014

Review #144: Hated this cigar. It burns bad,and leaves a very bad aftertaste.I felt fooled. - Submitted by joaozinho30 on December 14, 2013

Review #143: Since mid 2002, this cigar is offered in a Hand Made short-filler format. :-D - Submitted by jenkinschristopher on June 17, 2012

Review #142: If this was a 10 or twenty dollar smoke I would say that this was an ok cigar, but a Cuban for under 5 bucks this cigar is amazing Good Cuban tobacco flavors.Nice draw "on most of them" And the construction is not bad. - Submitted by cohiba01 on March 29, 2012
