Review #66: I just finished my first Hoyo Epi 2. I smoked it outside in the cold. This cigar is beautiful in appearance; it was a nice shade of brown. It was firm yet pliant under the pressure of my fingers. It felt properly filled. I found the cigar to be young. This is becoming more and more the norm for cuban cigars. The taste was linear the first 2/3 of the cigar. It opened a modicum within the final 1/3 of this cigar. I will reserve my absolute final judgement on this cigar after it has been laid down for 3 weeks to 3 months. Cuban cigars are sold too young nowadays. I find this fact disappointing. Thank goodness I am purchasing an excellent cabinet humidor for maturing my smokes. If I had not tried cuban cigars during the cigar boom, I would have never had known of the the exquiste experience that can be had from a properly aged cigar. I look forward to trying this cigar, after some ageing. - Submitted by HUC on December 9, 2005

Review #65: This is by far the best cigar I have ever smoked. I have had many different brands of cigars and if I were told I could only have 1 it would be this one. It burns, tastes and draws perfectly. The flavor is good and strong. - Submitted by hoyoman on November 21, 2005

Review #64: I smoked my first Epicure No. 2 this weekend. I had just returned with a fresh box and was excited to give one a try. I normally smoke Cohiba's or Partagas, but figured it was time to give one a try. Draw was great. However, I was not that impressed overall. The flavors were not that strong at all. Granted, the cigars were only in my humidor for a week, and will probably get better as they sit there, but I still wasnt that impressed. I hope I am wrong and a few months from now when I smoke another, I am more impressed. - Submitted by djchazz on November 15, 2005

Review #63: I'm a big fan of the robustos, so I rushed to try the Hoyo Epicure No. 2. THE perfect robusto, dare I say: strong, balanced, excellent combustion, efortless draw. Taste was awesome. Dark beans, earth and leather flavors melt into an unique smoking experience. - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on October 25, 2005
