--- This is my first review, and I am quite new to cigars (6 months). Tried my first Hoyo epi #1 from a three-pack. Very nice looking with great construction and burn. It started off mainly herbal and woody which was ok but not totally to my liking. Lots of nice thick smoke. Then an inch in... Wow! An explosion of creamy, floral yummyness washed over my palate. Beautiful! Unfortunately a bit after the halfway mark it started tasting quite burned, which carried on until the end. An enjoyable smoke, hopefully with some age on them the burnt taste will go away, then this will be a very fine stick indeed. I would rate it 7.5/10, rounding down to 7, but I imagine there is room for improvement with age. - Submitted by 4drian on August 5, 2010

--- It being the Victoria Day long weekend this past weekend here in Canada, I enjoyed two pf these beauties paired with Crown Royal whiskey. The pairing was most excellent. The smoke was plentiful and they were very fresh, being from a box I had purchased this past Sunday. The rapper was a nice dark brown and there were spicy hints as well when smoking and the smoke was cool. --- It is the victoria day long weekend here in Canada and I just enjoyed two of these beauties over the weekend from a box I purchased. Very enjoyable and flavourful smoke.
