Review #7: I like the corona seniors for a quick, everyday smoke, so I thought I would try this one since I found a nice looking box at a dealer of mine. I have found it to be a bit rough, but with promise if aged well. Construction was decent, but not top notch as it burned uneven towards the end and the draw was a bit hard. Similar taste profile as other Upmann's, but on the lower quality side. Overall it is a good value for money and as Rev. no. 3 said, it will probably improve considerably with time, if you don't mind the long wait. - Submitted by finidi on January 21, 2008

Review #5: Good value - the ones I had were not cellophaned. A few with draw problems, but the others were great smokes. - Submitted by peem birrell on September 16, 2007

Review #4: I already smoked three of these cigars and found them very balanced. Good construction quality. Very smooth on the 1st/3, fully revealed on th 2nd/3, and the last third of it allready a bit strong. A very subtle spicy tone that grows up towards the end of the cigar. I found a bit of almonds on the ones I smoked. The burn was uneven in 2 for almost 20 minutes, but corrected after that. I recommend if you want 45 minutes well spent. - Submitted by ricardosapinto on June 11, 2007

Review #3: I could tell this Habano was rather young judging by the smell of amonia it had, but since it was bought for a quick smoke on a spontaneous occasion, I decided to light it anyway. There's a herbal taste with an aroma of olive oil to it, as can be found in other Upmanns. The flavour was definitely still rough. While this can be expected from a young cigar, it was rather prominent here. An aging of 3 years is probably the minimum for getting the better aspects out of this Habano... aspects it definitely has. The smoke is surprisingly mild for Cuban tobacco. Despite a rather heavy draw, the construction is otherwise of top quality. An initially uneven burn corrected itself very quickly, and the coal remains extremely flat. This is a cigar of decent quality for an excellent price, but if you think this suggests it's a quick smoke to be picked up on a hunch, you're wrong. It's the kind of cigar that won't cost you much but can probably turn out to be quite a treat after spending several years in a humidor. It's probably best to consult a review of someone who has tried a more aged one. Get yourself a few, stock them away in a humi and forget about them. Several years down the line, you might find yourself with some great sleeper hits. - Submitted by Nekotaku on March 12, 2007
