Review #8: Had a '99 one - the look matches many Partagas of that period, appearing medium-tan but somewhat greenish on the wrapper. Impeccably constructed, it was a pleasure to smoke. Very similar in style to the '97 Churchills de luxe I had - probably I would rather go to that one. Dark toastiness, dried herbs, remainders of pepper and tannin. It was not overwhelmingly strong, but Partagas full-bodied. It performed marvellously rounding off the tannic edges of a 1990 Barolo. - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on June 4, 2008

Review #7: Smoked one yesterday. The cigar had the best draw of all the cigars I have tried and delivered lots of smoke. The taste was in my opinion a bit milder than the 8-9-8 Barnizados, which I prefer, but this is still a wonderful partagas - Submitted by Christianjes86 on February 21, 2008

Review #6: Partagas tobacco through and through. This is a very pleasant cigar. This is a very robust and flavourful cigar. Leather and wood can be detected. I wouldn't hesitate to smoke more of these. Perfect burn, draw, and construction. I smoked it too fast. These kinds of cigars should be savoured and smoked slowly. - Submitted by cookj1 on October 15, 2007
