AUG 98 Ahhh. Starts out smooth with promising ends. At first it tickles your sences. Second act builds up a very Partags taste. Smothe and full with intoxicating aromas. If you are able to take it slow at the last third you get an unblivable smoke. Had problem to let then nub go. Lobe this one.... Why is it disconinued????? Arrrrrrggh. MAR 00 i just got 3 boxes of this discontinued-items few weeks ago and more luckily dated in 2000. the initial presentation is quite usual on a 10-years cigar. dry-wrapper but no crack. no much aroma. i can say it had been maintaining in a pretty good condition. i lit once after weeks of aging and found the taste is quite flat even cannot compare with current hot-items (D-4 or P-2). a little-bit hard-draw and no obvious change in wrapper in terms of color and smell. not much smoke and burnt quite-even. but i can forecast it will be improved much under a qualified condition after longer aging. - Submitted by ericryan on December 1, 2009

OCT 03 I have smoked this cigar CLE OCT03 box last night.This cigar make impress at the first look,have a good contruction.The first third was old style bitter,then developed taste to typical Partagas, only increase the power of cigar and the finish was really with full taste.Rounded and mellow,nice flavour.It´s shame breake this production. - Submitted by kml on August 3, 2009

Έχοντας καπνίσει περιστασιακά μερικά sticks από δω κι από κι από κει, είχα μια συγκεχυμένη άποψη γι αυτό το πούρο, γενική και αόριστη. Καπνίζοντας όμως μια κούτα του 2006, παραδέχομαι την πλάνη μου και απολογούμαι. Πρόκειται για ένα θαυμάσιο Churchill, πολύ, μα πολύ καλό, πρωτοκλασάτο και αβανταδόρικο. Όλη η επιτομή των Partagas, ακόμα και τα «κόκκινα» δαχτυλίδια, βρίσκεται εδώ,. Η αρχή θυμίζει έντονα Lusitanias, στη μέση γεύεσαι ένα καλοψημένο Serie D, και η ολοκλήρωση έρχεται με κάτι που δεν απέχει πολύ απ’ τις κρέμες που σερβίρει ένα Serie P σε μεγάλη φόρμα. Όχι πως τούτο το Churchill δεν έχει το δικό του χαρακτήρα, το αντίθετο μάλιστα. Απλά, η εξέλιξη του είναι τόσο συναρπαστική και πλούσια, που σε καθηλώνει οδηγώντας σε συγκριτικούς συνειρμούς, (καθ’ όλα αντικειμενικούς όμως), με κάποιες ομο-αίματες καπνιστικές κορυφές. Λυπάμαι μονάχα, που από δω και πέρα θα ‘ναι δύσκολο να το βρει κανείς, αφού σταμάτησε να βγαίνει το 2006. - Submitted by cipu on March 9, 2009
