Review #9: I´ll ad that from same size I´ve had Molinos, Vegas Robaina Clasicos, Davidoff millenium, with the same result. It´s better to smoke corona corda or robusto that size gives cover leaf more chance. - Submitted by petrir on April 28, 2009

I´ve only taste these from 01 box and they are about same as vintage 07,08 of 5´s. Take´s moore time to smoke, same flavour that doesn´t develope to anywhere. Ageing takes some acid off. I prefer the younger, shorter ones. - Submitted by petrir on April 28, 2009

Οι πρώτες νότες είναι μαλακές και κρεμώδεις με ένα ανεπαίσθητο άρωμα ψημένης φλούδας πορτοκαλιού. Όσο προχωράει, διακρίνεται από μια σταθερή φρουτώδη υφή άλλοτε ευδιάκριτη κι άλλοτε πολύ λεπτή, σχεδόν ανεπαίσθητη. Καίγεται όμορφα και συμμετρικά, και κάπου στη μέση δίνει κάτι από το milk and alcohol που έχουν οι ομογάλακτες πυραμίδες του, είναι όμως κάτι ρηχό, γιατί στερείται του ανάλογου όγκου τους. Το τελευταίο μέρος είναι πολύ όμορφο με καβουρδισμένα αρώματα και γεύση πιο γεμάτη, που κατασταλάζει σε κάτι πιο γήινο. Ένα όμορφο και ισορροπημένο Cervantes, αρκετά γευστικό και ενδιαφέρον, που έχει «κουνήσει μαντήλι» από το 2006. - Submitted by cipu on February 23, 2009

JUN 05 This is a superb lonsdale that gets lost in the shuffle. I find this cigar to be earthy and rich. As you smoke, both spicy and sweet notes mingle beautifully in the background. After smoking just one I bought another box with the same code. - Submitted by mr.scaramanga on May 30, 2008

Habanos just announced that this lonsdale was being discontinued. The smaller ring guage cigars are soon to be a thing of the past. Fortunately, there are still enough of this vitola to stock up, and if you try one, you probably will. My box are dated JUN05, and are consistent and excellent in construction. A little tight at first, they open up nicely to reveal a rich, sweet "paprika" like spice, with a cedary underpinning. There is a distinct twang, with a strong orange citrus core. Together, these combine to make the Dip No. 1 taste like a tart English marmalade. A unique cigar that often serves as "dessert" in my diet! - Submitted by shrink on September 4, 2006
