Review #130: FEB 04 One of the best cigars I have ever smoked. Period. It's hard to describe the creamy chocolate, coffee, spice flavors with a "sweet" taste running throughout. Getting better and better with each passing year. - Submitted by cigar-sama on March 27, 2010

Review #129: NOV 04 Beautiful cuban maduro wrapper with very few veins. It is a strong cigar, with dark chocolate aromas. Hearthy. It draws like a dream with plenty of smoke. In the first third the chocolate flavors are less intense, in the last they become more like bitter chocolate. Other flavors include leather, wood, vanilla, and coffee changing throughout the stick as it is smoked. Spectacular! - Submitted by bertolia on March 26, 2010

Review #128: OCT   I have just received an original box of 25 Cohiba Sublimes EL 2004 from a Cuban friend. Truth is, Cohiba still keeps some boxes of it which are very controlled and normally reserved for gifts or special events and protocol situations related to the Cuban government. My friend has friends in el Laguito and gets 1 box just every now and then since, like I said, there is a lot of control in Cohiba regarding these cigars. I haven't smoked any yet (and it will probably be some time before I gather enough courage to light one), but I have to say the presentation is the best I have ever seen for any cigar. From the immaculate big wooden, cedar box to the cigars itselves: dark brown (the darkest I've seen in any Cohibas; resembles the Romeo y Julieta Robustos EL 2003); tightily rolled, fat, with the wrapping leaves tight and showing all the venations. Incredible smell; the condition they are in is, true to their name, sublime. - Submitted by Dogoman on October 3, 2009

Review #127: ---   I smoked one five months back.... fortunately it was offered to me by a generous friend... Cost is high, but it is just a perfect cigar... I meant perfect in all regards..... I asked for the price of the box, but it is, unfortunately, too expensive. I am going to try the Monticristo Sublime, and i do hope it will be a good substitute to this giant... 10/10 - Submitted by sharif on September 21, 2009

Review #126: This is a very good cigar - I kept one in reserve on my wedding day, but it's not the greatest ever in my opinion. It seems to lack some of the balance of other Cohibas. Having said that, I'm still haning on to that last one in my humidor :) And just a remark about #23 below, I totally agree. It's possible that you can get some home rolled cigars in Cuba that are beautifully made and extremely good smokes. For those who want to criticise other reviewers for smoking home rolls, just remember that the ORIGINAL Cohibas that were rolled for Castro (before they were called Cohibas and before they were called Lanceros) we home rolls (or 'fuma's) made by a skillful troccedor called Eduardo Rivera Irizarri. - Submitted by Kieron McCann on June 10, 2009
