Review #30: This is based on a single stick. Near perfect construction, and excellent draw with good resistance. Flavours are extremely creamy and rich, like cocoa beans lightly browned in butter. Core of Cohiba grassy and beany flavours are present, along with a deep earthiness I associate with ELs. A hint of dark fruit is sometimes apparent, and the finish is looong and sweet. Aroma is mediocre, and flavours remain constant throughout the smoke. Overall a cigar made with top class tobacco, but perhaps not worth the tremendous hype unless age proves otherwise. - Submitted by The Privateer on May 31, 2005

Review #29: Truly a letdown after all the hype that these smokes were getting. The cigar was constructed and burned perfectly but the flavors were not as full as I had hoped. I aged it for six months and couldn\'t stand to look at it for any longer without smoking it. I think I should have let it sit for at least another six months or so. I recommend letting your Sublimes sit for as long as possible to let all the flavors get just right. I prefer my Siglo VI\'s for smoking as of now. - Submitted by BLinburg on May 20, 2005

Review #28: I can\'t stand some of the abuse people are giving here, just review the cigar for yourself. By the way these are not the best cigar out of Cuba and the odd one I have had HAS had a toughish draw. I work in the cigar trade and all stock I come across is EMS direct from H&F. These are full flavoured, medium-full bodied, sweet, dark flavours of cocoa, espresso, woods, honey and leather with a nice amount of spice. Very enjoyable indeed, but as with all EL\'s they are designed to be aged a long time, be patient. - Submitted by A. Dyer on May 15, 2005

Review #27: What an excellent cigar! I just purchased two boxes, one to age and the other to enjoy as I celebrate my business school graduation. I had to try one right away and it was creamy with complex flavors of cocoa and perhaps a hint of cherry. The stick was soft to the touch and the wrapper was oily. The temptation to smoke the box I plan to age 3 years will be difficult to overcome! - Submitted by Billy the Greek on May 13, 2005

Review #26: This cigar is creamy, rich, complex, and has a great burn (for such a large cigar) - the ultimate experience. They should age at least 6 months before smoking. Many experts believe this cigar needs further aging - 5, 8, 10 years and more. Aging will certainly mellow this stick, making it more manageable. Truthfully, I found it difficult to finish simply because of its size and richness. While aging will add to the complexity of this cigar (and mellow it), in my opinion, the flavours are fantastic right now. - Submitted by GFC Vancouver on April 27, 2005
