Review #51: Had one after 3 months in the humidor. This is one little cigar that grabs your attention. Stays pleasantly spicy throughout with creamy vanilla flavor and floral sweet aroma. Even burn and perfect draw. Very similar to San Cristobal el Principe but with a bit more intensity...a great 40 min pleasure ride. I would like to stock these beauties but for the price I'll opt for the el Principe which offers better value. - Submitted by shaikhy on December 2, 2006

Review #50: This one was from ABR 06. Appearance: Smooth, medium tan and oily wrapper. This stick had a great draw and produced a very good amount of smoke. Started off with a very pleasant sweet grassy flavor in the first inch and followed with a nutty, creamy vanilla flavor. Mid stick, still very creamy with more of the same flavors but with an added mild woody bite. Last third the flavors were enhanced. I nubbed it. Overall: Hands down the best Perla I've smoked. Awesome cigar with lots of smoke and flavors. Medium strength across the board. Easily a go to cigar for me. - Submitted by TimL on November 4, 2006

Review #49: A great half hour smoke, with the first 3rd smooth and creamy, the second with a hint of spice which gives way to more full bodied tones, and the final 3rd bringing out that characteristic and powerful Cohiba spice. Pretty easy draw, excellent burn and an overall pleasant experience. While I agree it is slightly overpriced I would be happy to pay to have these great examples of the vitola. - Submitted by tomhendriks on November 3, 2006

Review #48: On recent experience needs to be aged well, otherwise can be a bit tight with the smoke. - Submitted by stjohnroe on September 22, 2006
