Review #38: MAY 07 Although I enjoyed the Secretos when first released, and bought several boxes, I had let these cigars sit in the humidor without smoking one for a long time. I pulled out a box with some leftovers from this initial bounty. The Secretos that I selected was a beautiful cigar that looked like it had been dipped in dark chocolate, with one small water spot on the wrapper the only flaw that was evident. Firm draw on the clip. From the first puff, a sweet mocha taste, that first puff reminded me of the sugar sticks that you can dip into coffee. As I continued, I got that sweet mocha taste, much more chocolatey than a Montecristo, sweeter and richer. It reminded me of a very rich dark chocolate bar. Nothing at all characteristic of a Cohiba, actually nothing characteristic of a Cuban cigar other than the high quality. Very pleasant, I had to restrain myself from puffing at it hungrily to gobble up this sweet dessert. This cigar was very smooth, had an excellent draw, burned well, and produced plentiful smoke. No real change in the flavor over the course of the cigar. It remained medium bodied throughout, full flavored, rich and chocolatey, with a hint of espresso, but a sugary espresso. Very nice as a change of pace cigar and I enjoy having these on occasion. - Submitted by Professor Twain on February 17, 2009

Review #37: A good friend from LCDH gifted me one of these little Cohibas, that sadly resulted in nothing but a total dissapointment. The burn was totally irregular, the wrapper was almost unburnable, and the cigar smoked hot and incredibly flavorless. I've had $4 Cosacos much better than this cigar. - Submitted by eeq71 on January 11, 2009

Review #36: I thought this cigar was fantastic. Wonderful appearance and construction, and great flavors. My original plan was to just smoke Maduro's on special occasions, but I think I will cut back on less expensive cigars and just smoke these a few times a month. This cigar was almost exactly perfect to me, one problem being its size (I know they have the Magicos, but those bad boys are about twice the price...too much for me to smoke semi-regularly). - Submitted by kyleg on January 3, 2009

Review #35: AUG 07 This was my first cigar. Received a box of ten as a gift and didnt have the first one until 6 months later. It took just 12 days to smoke all ten. That is how much I liked them. Smooth, tasty and very enjoyable. Great draw and a dense, hearty smoke. - Submitted by Baxter on November 21, 2008

Review #34: tasty... vanilla provides the base with some black cherry undertones and an incense(!) flavour is present in the cigar. this cigar is good and i am unsure why it didnt get a higher overall rating- the price perhaps? siglo 1 had more of a spicey flavour and the siglo 2 had a citrus orange flavour . out of the three cohiba types i have smoked this is my fave closely followed by the sig1 and then the sig2. - Submitted by jaz on November 13, 2008
