Review #114: to reviewer 110.yes new cohiba bands have gold letters and words la habana, cuba are changed to only habana, cuba.there are 3 full rows of square dots above the gold cohiba logo and total of 5 rows around the band.of course the paper in the inside is raised.altough the bands itself dont guarantee you true smokes because workers often stil originals from factory, the box itself is difficult to counterfeit,if you know what to look for its easy to spot fake box,but definite fake spotter should be your nose and palette,it takes me only couple of draws on the fake one to know that its not the real thing, sometimes just appearance and presmoking nose test for advance afficionado say it all.good luck,by the way i love esplendidos but robusto is better - Submitted by marius on April 1, 2007

Review #113: Thanks to Rich Golodner for allaying my fears. I'm currently enjoying the first of these cigars, and it's mighty fine. I sure wish I could taste all the flavours that others mention, but my tastebuds only taste fine tobacco. That's good enough for me. All in all, a great smoke. - Submitted by W. Review #112: Hola. I find Esplendidos the finest Julieta 2 smoke when well aged. At 4-5 years, it reaches the best balance strength/flavours I've ever tasted in an Habano, a must. It is expensive but worth the effort and patience waiting until it is old enough. - Submitted by olisiponense on March 31, 2007

Review #111: to reviewer 110,off the top of my head I can tell you a box from PFY 05 have the gold raised lettering. I am positive about this part. - Submitted by Rich Golodner on March 26, 2007

Review #110: I need some help. I just got a box of these from Cuba, and wonder if they're counterfeit. The word COHIBA is printed in gold, not black. Also the band says Habana, Cuba, Not LA Habana, Cuba. Also there are two and a half rows of square dots above the word COHIBA, not two rows. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks - Submitted by W.
