Review #124: Hola. A couple of years ago I decided to make a test of all Cuban cigars Churchill vitola available in Spanish market. My preferences went to H. Upmann Sir Winston, Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes and Cohiba Expléndidos. Since then I’ve been trying once in a while these three cigars, finding problems with some Sir Winston and Coronas Gigantes. Sometimes probably the main problem was aging, but sometimes not: Poorly rolled with deficient draw ones were found. Cohiba Expléndidos never failed, it is a luxury cigar, very expensive (the second most expensive Cuban cigar in current production available in Spain, following Montecristo A). Not for everyday and also it must be well aged to perform a good smoke. It is very well rolled in Colorado medio, the best leaf from Vuelta Abajo Tobacco Region: Pinar del Río and San Juan are there. Superb and powerful presence due to it dimensions. One hour and a half of good smoke with perfect draw. Easy to light taking some care. Strong and complex from the first third. Full of tones at second third, and again, complex at last third. I would recommend to smoke this cigar aged, at least, four or five years old from the date of production. This is a cigar strongly faked, take good care with the source it came from. Enjoy it as much as I do. - Submitted by olisiponense on June 26, 2007

Review #123: I was lucky enough to get one of these as a gift. Wow! One of the best cigars I've ever had. Never went out. Creamy, almost chocolate like flavors and very smooth. I know this is the ultimate 'tourist cigar' but out of all the Cohiba cigars this is my personal fave. It's opoular for good reason, it's just so damn good! I didn't find it too strong on to mild. Well balanced cigar. - Submitted by cigar are good on June 21, 2007

Review #122: I was so lucky to have been gifted one of these beauties yesterday. It was scumptious. ...some serious chocolate notes. ...much sweeter than the other Esplendidos I've smoked. It's been a few years since I've had one of these, and perhaps I won't wait as long to have another one. The draw and construction was perfect. The wrapper might lead you to believe that it's a lighter cigar, however, the flavours are amazing and very pronounced. The burn was perfect too. Not to be smoked when you're in a rush. ...definitely a cigar you will nub. - Submitted by cookj1 on June 18, 2007

Review #121: Bought a box from NOV 05 and just smoked one. There is no question that these are the cigars by which all others are measured. What a wonderful, well balanced, perfectly constructed smoke. Right down to the nub, this was 90 minutes of smoking Nirvana - Submitted by russman on June 9, 2007

Review #120: I meant to give the Cohiba a full 5 star rating. These cigars are that good. RyJ churchill in a tube is not as flavourful as a cohiba. Wonderful cigar to enjoy. Not for a beginner smoker. My first one took me a week to fully smoke. - Submitted by jdelrizzo on May 26, 2007
