Review #34: This cigars reminds of the good old school habanos and itīs a delight to smoke, a very earthy taste combined with coffee and dark cholocate with hints of leather. An awesome cigar which is truly for old fashioned lovers of cuban cigars. - Submitted by DG on January 20, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on October 21, 2008

Review #32: JUL 05 Took the opportunity this weekend to compare a 1999 with a 2005, both were of very good construction. The 99 was probably just getting past peak with mellow smooth earthy flavors but definately medium body. The 2005 was all Bolivar with huge flavor, depth and strength. The wrapper on the 05 had a bit of shine and a reddish hue (sounds like G Costansa). It is always a matter of personal taste and preference, but I would say I prefer the in your face back bone of youth vs the finese and subtlety of age. The score is for the 05, I would rate the 1999 / 7.5 - Submitted by randallp on October 13, 2008

Review #31: This cigar was lovely, had hints of dried fruit and the taste was savory. Wonderful pull and ash the cigar was exquisite from start to finish. The only flaw I would say that took it away from a perfect score was the fact it went out once and it canoed twice while smoking. Extremely bold and strong Bolivar taste. Can't wait to get my hands on the next one. 80% - Submitted by Cuba_Raff on October 8, 2008

Review #30: SEP 06 Wow, what a cigar. After suffering though the bland 04s, these BCEs are everything a Bolivar lover could want- strong, rich, earthy flavors that just keep coming. These can be smoked until too small to hold. They never get harsh. - Submitted by Bassman on September 4, 2008
