Review #16: A friend gave me this cigar a few months ago from a 2003 box. It was very mild, but a good smoke. Burned very even all the way thru. Small hints of cofee and vegetable. Would smoke again. - Submitted by LOMNHERNANDEZ on April 9, 2008
Review #15: Today I smoked my first of a 2001 box. Was able to buy the box via email last week for the then going price in 2001, a well known Spanish estanco wanted to sell them and lowered there price because they couldn't sell them at the 7 euro price now... not very well known and not high in demand and certainly not fullfillling the need for the big gauge fashion at this time . So it was just 4 euro a piece, 100 euro for the whole box, a bargain if you ask me. Certainly in my book, because I simply adore laguitos and delicados cigars. Tastewise I can only confirm reviewer n°9's idea. Spot on. enjoyed it with a coffee, but got even better with a coke (coke or rum & cigars, always a perfect combination) A shame I was a bit on the late side so I could only purchase 1 box. A solid 8, especially at that price. 24 others are waiting for me, and I'm waiting for 24 other occasions to smoke them... perfect sunday afternoon smokes! - Submitted by Yapi on January 27, 2008
Review #14: A single cigar - date unknown. Turned out to be fully plugged, could not even get it it light properly. - Submitted by Tommy on September 13, 2007
Review #13: I recently smoked a single one of these and found it to be quite nice. A charming, mild flavour. In one word: elegant! - Submitted by speedy gonzales on August 31, 2007
Review #12: I bought a couple of them at my local cigar trader out of a box I don't know the boxing date of. But - wonderful mild but intense flavour - a unique taste that will make be come back for more of them. I do like the Format very much anyway, and the Especiales No.1 combines typical cuban earthiness with a hint of smooth and sweetness. Very pleasant. - Submitted by AR71 on August 27, 2007
