Review #55: I had one of these cigars with my father and whilst he really enjoyed his i found mine to be way to young, i agree with reviewer #53 all i got from this cigar was acrid, bitter tar. I really like the Robaina range and im sure the Famosos is a cigar that will improve with age. - Submitted by ukaficionado on July 13, 2007

Review #54: The box was dated Oct 06. Construction is very good and aroma was wonderful pre-smoke. I wanted to write this review afer reading review 49 thru 53. I do consider this box to need aging because of the box date. First couple of draws gave a leather and wood flavor. These flavors did stay even throughout the smoke. It was a medium smoke that became slightly more potent in the last third. I believe that this is certainly not a Cohiba or Partagas or a Montecristo as far as flavor goes but I really enjoyed this one. The price was right and I'll keep them in my humidor. Have shared a few with friends who commented on how enjoyable the cigar was which was supported by the nubs left in the ashtrays.(always the proof)I hope monteman has a few more to smoke. - Submitted by Mark Wells on July 2, 2007

Review #53: I let this one sit in my humidor for about a year, but otherwise, I'd swear this one was in the middle of its sick period. At best, this cigar was a one trick pony in terms of flavour; at worst, it tasted only of tar. This cigar was leathery and woody at times, but it never changed, so it wasn't particularly interesting to smoke. Other than the flavour, though, this cigar exemplified the quality that one should be able to experience regularly with Cuban cigars. Sadly, I wish some of my nicer tasting cigars could have been constructed to this standard, giving this cigar a level of quality more befitting of its flavour. Sorry, I just didn't see it at all in this one. - Submitted by agraupe on June 25, 2007

Review #52: The beauty of this cigar is the the depth of the flavour. It calls your tstebuds to attention. It is smooth too. Lovely appearance and construction. Good value. It is the real deal, not just a name. - Submitted by monteman on June 20, 2007
