Vegas Robaina Familiares Review:
Its taste is quite similar to that of Clasicos. The flavour, which is half way between medium and strong, is perfectly combined with some smooth, creamy, cocoa or spicy notes among others. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least three years.

Review #19: This was a disappointing cigar. I was waiting for it to develop into something more than it was, but it never happened. It was tight and most definitely smooth and creamy, but I didn't find it to be a medium to full bodied cigar. In fact, it was on the lighter shade of medium. The flavour was very similar to the Clasicos which I smoked right after. In fact, I could only dectect a slight sweetness to the Clasicos, which the Familiares had but not to the same degree. Not much spice. Little smoke. Aromatic in a herbal way. This is an average Cuban. Certainly not a classic like the Unicos or Don Alejandro. I prefer the Famosos even more too. I will smoke more after giving the others more age, but for now I will remember this as a disappointing cigar. - Submitted by cookj1 on May 12, 2008
Review #18: I've been smoking the Robainas almost exclusively for about a year now, (Favourite is the Don Alesandro)_Including this one.
I like the burn , the smooth smoke. A litttle tight. But I can live with that.
Although, the 1st 1 I smoked was last February with Senor Robaina hios son 7 grandson at the Robaina farm in Cuba.
Someone told me recently that the "old amn" had passed away. Anyone wiith any info on that?
He was a pretty cool guy.
When i met him he was 88 and had been smoking cigars for 80 years! Amazing.
This is mu 1st time on this site.
Hope to get some education

Review #17: Un puro sencillo y agradable.Amaderado, con leves matices dulces ,y en ocasiones ligeramente terrosos. - Submitted by rafa on November 26, 2007
Review #16: Smoked an 06 example this evening. Burn and construction was flawless. A Creamy, velvety smoke with a dark espresso flavor. This box was pretty unremarkable until now after about 1 and 1/2 years of age. - Submitted by mr.scaramanga on November 25, 2007
Review #15: I smoked one last evening woith a zapaca 15 years: excellent flavours and appearance, with some construction problems (I had to relight it a couple times), but as I said it tasted so good as to recomend it. - Submitted by peac25 on July 11, 2007
