Vegas Robaina Clasicos Review:

Its taste is quite similar to that of Familiares. The flavour, which is half way between medium and strong, is perfectly combined with some smooth, creamy, cocoa or spicy notes among others. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least three years.

This cigar was about one hour and forty five minutes of perfection. It was made in 2000 and now being 2009 tells you that it had some time to develop in the humidor and my God what a treat. Smooth as anything I have ever tasted with hints of cocoa, coffee and wood. Very even burn and a wonderful draw. I look over to the nub in the ashtray and although it is dead and cold this will be a memory I will hold on to for a long time. Well, at least until I smoke the next one. JAN 08 Un sigaro per certi versi sorprendente! Non finisci mai di apprezzarlo tanto da volerlo tenere in bocca fino alla fine anche spento. Dal punto di vista manifatturiero quasi perfetto, tiraggio splendido anche se consiglio di dedicare sempre molta attenzione all'accensione, la fumata risulta regolare, l'odore del fumo è molto elegante con una vena pungente vinacea al punto giusto. Da spento i suoi olii sono piacevoli al tatto e lasciano dopo circa 1h e 45' di fumata un odore di cuoio che vorresti non sparisse mai. A mio parere uno dei rapporti qualità prezzo migliori in commercio. Da regalare e da desiderare senza alcuna riserva!!! - Submitted by mimmobar on December 5, 2008

I couldn't agree more with # 24 this cigar is a powerhouse. I have a couple of boxes aging and was able to order some singles to try, I think from 01. This should be the last cigar of the day, you won't taste anything after it. Very rich flavors that demand a coffee or a port for full enjoyment. NOV 08 Robaina é um charuto indispensável pra quem gosta de apreciar um bom cubano. Muito bem construído, fluxo solto, permite uma queima homogênea e regular. Durante a queima apresenta cinzas firmes, chegando fácil à 3cm. É um charuto bem equilibrado, com bastante corpo e força média. Tem fumaça generosa e bem aromática, mas como característica da marca, Amarga no terço final. Mas é bom sempre ter no umidor, 1h de boa fumada. - Submitted by icaro on November 11, 2008
