Tasted this one also in order to try all the Trinidads out, the Coloniales were more to my liking, for short smokes I prefer El Principes or Shorts considering price/quality... Still, I would like to reply Graham on his remark in the previous review: the prices in Switzerland are for about 9 cubans out of 10 definitly higher than in Spain. As a matter of fact, I just came back from Suisse, stayed in Meiringen for 9 days, the meaning was 7 days but we all know what happend there, was supposed to come back via Lungern and Luzern, had to wait 2 days to be able to 'escape' Meiringen by car under official guidence via the southside of Brienz (North was disastrous) and Interlaken towards Thun and Bern. Of course I visited some cigar shops over there, prices for cubans were about the same as in Belgium, as I expected, and thus more expensive than Spain... (I'm not talking about non-cubans) What you probably mean is that it is (sometimes) cheaper to import from Suisse than Spain if you're a UK resident, or am I wrong? I know most Spanish retailers don't hesitate to add up big time for Cuban smokes, Suisse retailers are possibly cheaper for some Cubans, but the Suisse prices are no match for the official Spanish Estancos prices. The French mag 'l'amateur de Cigare' gives a great overview of the Cuban prices all over Europe in there 'Havanoscope', except Andorra, no better prices than in Spain... However, indeed, in Europe Trinidads are by far the cheapest in Spain, lets enjoy that fact! First third tasted flat and reminded me of cheap machine made cigars. The second third was oustanding. The flavours really opened up and I could detect roasted nuts and cocoa. The final third was similar to the second third only the strength grew stronger and a little creamy. A satisfying and well made short smoke. P.S This is a note to Yapi who recently did a review on the Coloniales and said Spain had the cheapest prices in Europe. I would qualify that and say it as the cheapest for trinidad cigars because in my experience Switzerland is cheapest for everything else. - Submitted by Graham UK on August 13, 2005

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is a cigar that you can enjoy with your morning coffee, or with a nice glass of chilled tea in the afternoon. A real premium cigar, with a veinless wrapper, smooth, even. Burn is easy, tastes are very complex and pleasing. Starts with nice floral smells, giving way to cocoa, vanilla and dark caccao powder.
