Review #45: Amazing cigar, Got a five pack in a sampler at the begining of the year, I don't have the box codes. I tried one in March and I wasn't that impress given it's reputation so thought I would wait until the summer to try again. This had wonderful draw, flawless burn although the ash wasn't too firm, (needed ashing at 1 inch through out) and it was quite flakey. Flavor was of cream, stewed fruits, black cherry (first time I've tasted that) and a hint of anise a couple of times. The full smoke and smoothness of this cigar really made me a believer. I also love the size and will probably try another in the near future just to confirm this wasn't a fluke. If the next is just as good I'll be adding these to the shopping list "Damn The Price!" - Submitted by randallp on August 6, 2007

Review #43: Best of the best.
Absolutely excellent in combination with Vintage Port Wine but also with Ron (try Matusalem 23 years).
This cigar improved in recent years: those made before 2003 had sometimes a difficult draw. - Submitted by lockhart on June 27, 2007
Review #42: I am just finishing my first box (24) of these beauties: wow. The blend is perfect for my taste centered on Churchills and DCs due to my preference for full favor. How does the Fundadores delivery so much FLAVOR for its 38-ring? I don't know, but I'm a believer. The construction of every one of my stick is excellent: nice easy draw inspite of 7+ inches lenght and the burn is even inspite of narrow ring size (it does burn too hot as many < 42 ring cigar tend to do). Try this one and YOU will become a believer. My rating is 8.5 plus. - Submitted by jaxjr on April 10, 2007
Review #41: Just smoked a 9-year old Fundadore that had been resting in my humidor. It delivered loads of peppers and roasted coffee and nicely moved into a leathery and cedary tastes. The burn was magically even with a moderate draw -- a perfect cigar. - Submitted by oussafa on March 30, 2007
