Review #34: To those posting about tightness, dial down the RH to 65 for havanas and you'll see this artifact disappear. Have not had a bad draw on anf 98/99 vintage of these since doing so. Agree with the complex flavor profile outlined heretofore. Absolutely the best production cigar coming out of Cuba, hands down. - Submitted by ilgallo on November 10, 2006

Review #33: Absolutely fantastic smoke. I love this long and thin format, which burns hotter, releasing more concentrated flavours. A perfect blend of intricate spice, honey and toasted vanilla overtones, combined with hints of espresso and cocoa. Complex, and to be savoured slowly.. this is a cigar for someone who will appreciate its intricacy. Heavenly, and certainly a regular for me. - Submitted by MikePomery on October 13, 2006

Review #32: A good smoke. The taste was fine, but not one of my favorites. It was constructed well and burned just fine. I think the one I got was a little dry. I don't think the store I bought it from took care in storing them. I would most likely smoke another one if I had the chance. - Submitted by hoyoman on July 20, 2006

Review #31: JUST RECEIVED A CABINET OF 24, BOX CODE OIK JAN 04, THESE MUST HAVE BEEN ROLLED BACK IN 03 AND REBOXED IN 04, THE TOP LAYER WAS COVERED IN A FULL LAYER OF BLOOM AND THE PIGTAILS WERE STILL SUPPLE. THE AROMAS WHEN FIRST OPENING THE CABINET WERE MOST INTOXICATING, THE YELLOW RIBBON WAS DISCOLORED FROM THE OILS ON THE WRAPPERS. THE WRAPPERS HAD AND ALMOST WET LOOKING SHEEN TO THEM, I HAD TO LIGHT ONE. THE PRELIGHT AROMAS AND FLAVORS, VERY DECADENT AND INTOXICATING. THE FIRST PUFF AFTER TOASTING WITH A TORCH LIGHTER WAS UNBELIEVABLE. FROM THE VERY BEGINNING THE DECADENT AND INTOXICATING TRADEMARK TRINIDAD FLAVORS WERE THERE, JUST LIKE A GOOD COHIBA, THE TRINIDADS HAVE THEIR OWN INTOXICATING AROMA, ALMOST HALUCINAGENIC. ONCE THE 7 INCH MASTER GOT GOING THE FLOOD GATES OF FLAVOR WERE OPENED, FULL THROTTLE,VERY WELL AGED TOBACCO, THE HONEY AND VANILLA, WITH A SPLASH OF FRESH CINNAMON, CEDAR CHOCOLATE, ESPRESSO, BLACK CHERRY AND EVEN A HINT OF CITRIS, LEMON OR ORANGE. HALF WAY THRU THIS FLAGSHIP OF THE TRINIDAD LINE OPENED UP EVEN MORE, THE RUSH OF EXTRA, EXTRA OILY ESPRESSO, AND FRESHLY SHAVED DARK SWISS CHOCOLATE, THE BLACKCHERRY AND HONEY WERE MOST SATISFYING. THIS WAS SUCH A JOY I DIDNT WANT IT TO END. JUST WHEN IT WAS FINISHED I CONTACTED MY MAN IN SWITZERLAND AND ORDERED 5 MORE CABS, THIS TIME I ORDERED THE CABS OF 50 WITH THE SAME CODE AND DATE. I CANT WAIT TO TRY THE CABS OF 50. - Submitted by BIGYESTA on July 13, 2006

Review #30: I planned on smoking this 1 the day after the Cohiba Lancero to compare the two since they have the history of being handed out by the Cuban government.I know the Trinidad they gave out had a slightly smaller ring, but it's essentially the same cigar.I know people also say you can't judge a cigar by smoking only 1,but in my opinion the first impression determines if I will ever consider smoking 1 again. If it's a bad experince,I'm not going to even consider buying a box or another single for that matter. Now let's get back to this cigar. When I lit this,I thought I had a dog rocket. The first inch was horrible with a tight draw and was very mild.Once it opened up,it was a true masterpiece.Very complex with flavors of nuts and expresso with hints of vanilla and a slight tinge of spice and an occaisional cinnamon taste. It took 2 hours to smoke.Long lasting light and elegant finish.I enjoyed this much more than the Cohiba. If it wern't for the tight draw at the beginning and the price,I would have gave this a perfect 10.IMHO 1 of the best Cubans ever. - Submitted by afuentelover on June 15, 2006
