Review #5: Again, this cigar was very taste, but the draw was STILL a problem. I tried to dry it out for a day and it still was hard to draw. I split the box with a co-worker so I don't feel like I got totally jipped...
The rollers must be alerted on how tight they are rolling the Trinidads.
I can't return the cigars and I'll probably never buy a box again. What a waste of a cigar. I'm with Fred...Impossible to draw!!!
Don't buy these unless you feel all the cigars in the box and are to your liking. - Submitted by chilli on November 18, 2003
Review #4: I got my hands on o box of Fundadores, I am now smoking my 10th. Nine out of them had an impossible draw, consisting mostly of air with an overfermented flavor. Not much smoke. The wrapper unravels, cracks and leaks everywhere, excellent product if you're trying to quit. Milder than Marlboro Extra lights when humid. If you're stuck with them, let them dry out for a couple of days, but make sure you treat them gently and lick the wrapper thoroughly, or they'll crumble. Nice ashes, too bad I can't really use them, otherwise, a disgrace!
Montecristo, I'm coming back! - Submitted by Fred on November 13, 2003
Review #3: This cigar was tasty, full bodied, great aroma..BUT the draw was very difficult. I checked the rest of the cigars and all seemed to be rolled a little too tight. Though, they were a bit moist, so i'll give it another try.
My box was from July 2003 so i'm sure it'll age greatly.
Anyone have suggestions when an expensive cigar is rolled too tight? Please let me know what methods are succesfull. - Submitted by chilli on November 11, 2003
Review #2: A delicious, medium bodied, aromatic cigar that draws well and is perfectly crafted. It's expected to age well. One of my favourites. - Submitted by NobbyR on October 11, 2003
